Grüner Veltliner, that groovy white grape that’s big in Austria, is who we have to thank for this blend’s stellar aromas and electric mouthfeel. Some call it an exotic alternative to Sauvignon Blanc, we call it delicious. Unbelievable aromas of jasmine, cracked white pepper and fresh key lime make this arguably our most aromatic white wine ever. On the palate, flavors of crisp pear, juicy guava and vibrant lemon zest are refreshing and literally mouthwatering. With a finish that's amazingly clean and invites a second sip in a hurry, Post Disco is ridiculously, maybe even dangerously, quaffable.
Not everyone caught disco fever as it dominated radio airwaves in the 1970s. To the dismay of nonconformists, it oversaturated every facet of pop culture like most trends do. Led by unconventional urban artists with radically different sounds, an underground music movement soon took place on the East Coast. This scene, known as post-disco, was their response to the over-commercialization and artistic downfall of music at the time and the unprecedented backlash against disco. Today, we believe that a lot of winemaking in California has hit its own disco era of sorts in a sea of sameness. So, in response, we’ve chosen a gritty, early 1980’s New York street scene and industrial embossing tape to craft a label that’s our way of showing that we’re proud to be anything but conventional in our wines, beliefs and pursuits.
