Salvage Study's: Loaded Fries

A rugged, elevated take on a West Coast classic that piles crispy, thick-cut bacon onto golden fries, smothered in a velvety blend of melted cheese and a signature house spread for an ultimate comfort food upgrade that hits every savory note.

Ingredients

What you need:
1 lb frozen fries (extra crispy)
6 slices thick-cut bacon (diced)
5 slices of American Cheese
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp sweet pickle relish
1 tsp yellow mustard
1/2 tsp white vinegar

Directions

How to make it:
Bake the fries & cook the bacon
Cook the fries according to package instructions, aiming for extra crispy to hold up under the toppings. Meanwhile, cook the bacon strips in a large skillet over medium heat until perfectly crisp. Remove the strips from the pan, let them cool slightly, and then dice them into bits. Set aside.

Smother and melt
Preheat your broiler. Pile the hot, crispy fries onto an oven-safe skillet or baking sheet. Lay the American cheese slices directly over the top in a heavy, overlapping layer to completely blanket the fries. Pop under the broiler for 1 to 2 minutes until the cheese is totally melted and gooey.

Finish
Remove from the oven and immediately crown the melted cheese with the diced crispy bacon. Drizzle generously with Salvage Study's house sauce and serve straight away while hot.
