As dynamic as its label art, this wine is a testament to California’s diverse terroir. It's a blend of Riesling, Albariño, Grüner Veltliner, and Gewürztraminer, each playing a vital role. The Riesling from Kick on Ranch provides a windswept backbone of acidity and aromatic complexity. Grüner Veltliner from North Canyon adds a subtle touch of herbaceousness. Finally, the Albariño and Gewürztraminer from McCormack Ranch burst forth with floral aromatics and a bright, tropical fruit character that shines on the palate.
We went all in to make this wine special. We gently pressed the grapes in whole clusters to keep their fresh, bright flavor. Then, we fermented the juice in a mix of stainless steel, used French oak, and even terra cotta. This wasn't a random choice, it's what gives the wine a super vibrant feel while still having a slightly creamy texture. The whole process makes for a wine that’s both invigorating and complex, a testament to what can grow from the ground up.
