2019 Super Geisha, Pét-Nat Sparkling, El Dorado County
From the moment you pop the crown cap on Super Geisha, you'll be swept away with perfumed floral notes of jasmine and orange blossom, with some hints of spice and fresh herbs. The tiny bubbles give way to juicy tropical fruit on the palate that is refreshing yet delicate, with incredibly well-balanced acidity. The volcanic soils found in El Dorado County provide a chalky Champagne-like texture on the finish.
2019 The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, Red Wine, Sierra Foothills
Believe the hype. This is one of the best damn wines we've ever made. So why is this sooo good? Start with the beautiful color. Next, soak in its big, bursting aromas of raspberry, pomegranate, hints of vanilla, brown sugar, and rich leather. Drink it already!... Yeah, you see what we're talking about now? Bright, fresh, flavors of cherry, strawberry cobbler, rhubarb pie, graham cracker (basically, all the good shit), with hints of tobacco, and iced tea. This elegant wine is light in body, but concentrated in flavor, with a curvaceous mouthfeel and a finish so smooth you'll call it Marvin Gaye.
2018 Somewhere Out On That Horizon, Red Wine, Fox Hill Vineyard, Mendocino County
This Italian blend brings our old friends Primitivo and Sangiovese back to the table along with a new guest, Negroamaro – a southern Italian grape whose name translates to “black” and “bitter." It gives this wine notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and stout. Primitivo, otherwise known as the alter-ego of Zinfandel, lends flavors of ripe blackberries and blueberries, while the Sangiovese adds great acidity and notes of red fruit.
2019 Marlenas From Reseda, Red Wine, Sierra Foothills
A fun, stylish wine, we blended together 50% Graciano, 44% Syrah, 6% Viognier, and plenty of good vibes, to create a red wine that everybody will dig, just like Marlena. For us, it was love at first sight once we saw the shimmery garnet hues and tasted the cherry bomb flavors. Inhale violets, mulberry, and cedar. Exhale worry. As it transitions in the glass, like summer to fall, allspice and white pepper transform into a liquified cherry Jolly Rancher that rides on ‘til morning. Gonna pair with some carne asada street tacos and just chill for a while.
2018 SRR, Red Wine, Sierra Foothills
Following in the footsteps of Las Californias, SRR is a Tempranillo/Graciano blend that’s got us all shook up. If you’ve been following along, our love for Spanish Rioja is no secret and Tempranillo is something we just can’t quit. Full in body, with the perfect amount of tannin, and juicy red fruit flavors, Tempranillo is really fun to work with. Especially when paired with Graciano, another Spanish grape we use to add deep, dark color and beautiful aromatics.
2017 Wild Eyes, Red Wine, Napa Valley
Wild Eyes is a tempestuous Bordeaux-style wine that lures you in with every sip. A blend of 51% Malbec, 47% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Merlot, our winemaking team wrote a love song to the buxom wines of Napa Valley. For the first time, we give Malbec the spotlight, creating slightly softer layers of dark fruit, with captivating tannins and natural acidity. In your mouth, bewitching flavors of ripe blackberry and milk chocolate unravel with earthy notes of clove, vanilla, and camphor. Voluptuous in body, the finish will leave you lingering like a last kiss.
