Take It Easy is a hell of a ride. Zinfandel is a total wild child varietal, which is exactly why we built this lively blend around it. With just a touch of Petite Sirah and Carignane to round everything out nicely, this wine is balanced, expressive and adventurous. Woody notes of cedar, fresh rosemary and juicy cherry aromas jump right out of the glass while a big, bold palate creates a lingering finish. Ripe fruit carries through nicely, reminiscent of homemade strawberry rhubarb crumble in the summertime... Mmm!
Inspired by the wild child persona of mountain-grown Zin, we chose a close-up of the Captain America helmet from the epic 1969 film Easy Rider that follows two bikers who set off on a cross-country trek looking for America.
Yeah, I'm, I'm hip about time. But I just gotta go.
